JINDŘIŠSKÁ street is accessible and well connected with many tram lines, metro stations such as Můstek (Metro line A & B) just 100 meters, Museum (Metro line B & C) just 800 meters, and City’s central Main Railway station Praha Hlavně Nádraží (Metro line C) just a 700 meters, which is well connected to other European cities like Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Vienna, Zurich and many other cities.

This is a hidden treasure in Prague. If you like Indian food and don't want to get ripped off by the totally overpriced restaurants that the city center is full of, this is the place to go. Although the place is not fancy at all, the food is excellent. Very tasty, perfectly balenced. Service is simple, but respectful and friendly in the same time. We will definitely come back next time we visit Prague. The waiter was amazing, and even recommend what to eat together, and what not.

Food recommendations from Sunny (manager and chef) is superb. Lamb masala and Lamb Briyani are tender and succulent. Great suggestion of Palak Paneer as a good source of protein. Portions are generous (don’t be deceived by the size of bowls - they look small but are deep). Ordered my favorite Garlic naan to go with the rich spicy sauces. A very hot cup of Indian Masala tea gave a very satisfying end to my meal. My second time visiting the restaurant in 2 nights! First experience was great and second one is even better! Spice level can be adjusted to your liking. Top marks for Sunny!

It was very delicious, and a quiet and nice atmosphere. The service was really good, the server was very nice. The drinks came out quickly, same as the appetizers and the main dishes. everything was tasty and not to spicy not too bland, and good portion sizes, we took the leftovers home. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good indian food.

We found this restaurant via google maps and were pretty surprised how little people there were around lunch time. Our food was amazing - one of the best Indian food we’ve tried. What’s more, we were moved by the friendliness of our waiter Rahul. We got to chat for a little and got to know this kind man. We left the restaurant very satisfied and hope to come again next time we are in Prague. We highly recommend this hidden gem!

The food was incredibly delicious! We loved the Onion Bhaji, Shahi Paneer, and Chicken Curry. The mango and plain lassi were also very tasty. The server was personable and helpful with recommendations to help us branch out from our usual Indian choices. I highly recommend making a stop for lunch when you can try the buffet and sample even more great options.

Fantastic great value Indian food near national museum in Prague, without the pretentiousness. We went in the afternoon for canteen style buffet meal. Meal is the weight, you pay what you take. You won't get the atmosphere of posh restaurant but food won't disappoint you. They do ala carta in the evening. If going in the afternoon for lunch avoid office break time, possibly between 12-1, as all the local employees working nearby might be here.

We were visiting Prague on holiday with a group of 7 friends and were really craving some Indian food—so glad we found this place! The food at Nivant Indian Restaurant was absolutely brilliant. We ordered the chicken kadai, dal tadka, and paneer kadai, and everything was delicious with truly authentic Indian flavours. A special mention to Rahul, the manager, who was incredibly helpful and took great care of us throughout our visit. His hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you so much—we’ll definitely be visiting again next time we’re in Prague!

My friend and I came here for lunch and shared Chicken vindaloo, chicken Phall, Chili Garlic Naan and Garlic Naan. The food was wonderful, it was our first time trying Phall, as vindaloo is our normal favorite, but now phall is the new favorite! The waitstaff is very nice and were attentive. Would definitely recommend and I will come back for sure.
